The construction and operation of nuclear power plants create numerous high-skilled jobs, boosting local economies and contributing to national employment.

Nuclear power is highly reliable, providing a consistent and stable source of electricity with very high capacity factors, meaning nuclear plants are often operational more than 90% of the time. The long lifespan of nuclear reactors, often exceeding 40 years with possibilities for extensions, ensures a long-term, steady supply of energy.
Clean
Nuclear power is recognized for its remarkably low carbon footprint, as it produces minimal greenhouse gas emissions during operation compared to fossil fuel-based power generation. This makes it a crucial component in strategies aimed at combating climate change and reducing global carbon emissions.
